Patch it!

Hello lovely people!

I have been loving all the embroidered clothes in the shops over this year and clothes with a patch on them.  The only this is the patches aren't always my style.  So I went on the hunt for some and found some lovely patches on Etsy.com  I bought some and the makers of these patches have kindly let me add links to their shops just in case you wanted to go take a peek!

This super cute patch is from mini felts .  I just love unicorns at the moment and this wee patch just makes me smile.

These quirky patches are from Katie Abey designs.  They are just full of fun and made smile,,, especially the be nice or go away patch.  I hope that she makes more patches because I would love to purchase more of her designs.

This bold patch is from Jane at number 13  who has a lot of different patches and adds new ones so you need to keep checking back in her shop.

I bought quite a few patches from Silver clock threads .  I just loved all the craft themed ones and have my eye on the typewriter key patches too.  I haven't used the heart patch on my jacket as I want to keep it for a dress I'm making for my wee girl.

This lovely patch is from Half stitch embroidery .   I just loved the wee bee and thought it would look good on my pink denim jacket.  I also love a few more of her patches so will be adding them to my favourite list on etsy :)

I decided to put most of the patches on the left hand side of the jacket.  Think that is because I am left handed and it just felt right for me.  I carefully matched my thread to the edge colour of the patches.  I like to sew them on but you can just attach them using the iron.

This is the back of the denim jacket.  I kept the last two patches quite close together and I still have lots of space left on the back and the sleeves in case I see anymore I like.

One very happy lady in my custom patch jacket :)
