The lovely Mister Rob Ryan

I would say that Rob Ryan is probably my favourite designer ever!  His work is just so fun, quirky, and I could just look at it for hours.  He specialises in screen printing, drawing and paper cutting.  However he is most famous for his intricate and detailed paper cutting.  Every piece he creates tells a wee story and the detail he puts into his work is just amazing.  His portfolio of work is just astounding and has collaborated with lots of different designers, artists and company's.

You can see more of his work at his website -  www.misterrob.co.uk

When I went to London with my boyfriend I of course had to visit his shop.  I think we walked    for over an hour to get there, but it was totally worth it.  It was very difficult to not buy everything in the shop but eventually I settled on a lovely t-shirt.

He was even at Yorkshire Sculpture Park doing a signing for his new book - "A Sky Full of Kindness", but unfortunately I missed it and didn't get the chance to meet him, perhaps next time.

I recently purchased this tea towel from his Etsy shop.  Isn't it just beautiful?  I'm not entirely sure it will be used to dry dishes, maybe it could be framed or just be in the kitchen for decoration.

I also have a few of his books but the next item I'd like to own is this gorgeous vase, it just makes me smile when I see it :)
